IDEAL green line - eco friendly welding solutions

The new efficiency in welding technology.

The new IDEAL green line provides power-optimized resistance welding machines, developed by our specialists, in response to the increased demand for energy efficient, and thus environmentally responsible processes.

Up to 35 % energy savings

·        Reduced power consumption and improved productivity due to the use of

Medium Frequency Direct Current (MFDC) welding technology.

·        Power savings through the use of a new generation of energy efficient

         motors and drives.

·        Energy recovery by sending electrical energy back to your electrical

         network during motor breaking.

With Medium Frequency Direct Current welding technology, an electrical saving - over conventional AC resistance welding - can be realized. This is due to an improved power factor, which significantly reduces the reactive energy being used during welding.

Another energy saving advantage, with our new green line of automated resistance welding machines, is the use of a new generation of highly efficient servo motors and drives. But not only are the new motors and drives more efficient, saving you energy, they also employ a new energy conservative technique.

The technique involves pushing energy generated during stopping/de-accelerating of machine components, back into your electrical power network. In the past this energy would be lost into the environment in the form of heat.

A further added benefit, is the size of the electrical cabinet heat exchanger or air-conditioner, can be reduced in size, as less heat needs to be removed from the cabinet.

The above mentioned energy-saving technologies are used in a wide range of IDEAL machinery, including mesh welders, spot and projection welding machines. Thus, a variety of wire and sheet metal products, or a combination of wire and sheet metal, can be produced in a more environmentally friendly and cost effective manner.
