For these applications, mesh welding machines and jig welding machines are primarily used. They produce flat mesh, wire products, 3D wire products, and combined wire and sheet metal products with high dimensional accuracy and repeatable results.
The machine concepts can be adapted to product geometry, production volume, level of automation, and welding technology. This enables suitable production processes for small series, changing product variants, and automated production.
Welding Machines for Wire Joints
For wire joints, iDEAL-Werk manufactures robust wire welding machines for steel, aluminium, and copper wires. The machines are used in wire drawing plants, cable manufacturing facilities, and industrial wire processing where precise, repeatable, and draw-proof welded joints are required.
Depending on the application, butt welding, flash butt welding, or the double-pressure welding process is used. This enables wire ends, wire coil ends, round wire, profile wire, rings, frames, T-joints, and line welds to be reliably joined.
The appropriate wire welding machine depends on the material, wire diameter, joint type, and level of automation. This allows applications ranging from individual workstations to automated series production.
