Such evaluation in particular serves – also for the benefit of users who have not logged in themselves – the purpose to provide demand-orientated promotion and for the purpose of informing other social network users of your activities on our website. You may object against the creation of such user profiles by directly addressing such objection to Google.
  3. § 5 Use of Social-Media-Plug-ins

  1. We presently use the following social-media-plug-ins: Facebook, Xing, LinkedIn. In this context, we use the so-called Two-Click Solution: this means that when you access our website, as a basic rule, no personal data will be transmitted to the operator of plug-ins. You will recognize the operator of plug-ins by the mark within the box above his name’s initial letter or his logo. We enable you to directly communicate with the respective plug-in operator via such button. Only when you activate the contact by clicking at the respective area on your screen, the operator of the plug-in will be informed that you have accessed our respective website. Together with this information, the personal data specified in § 3 of this Data Privacy Statement will be transmitted. This means that when the plug-in option is activated, your personal data will be transmitted to the operator of the respective plug-in and be stored on his systems (where the operator is located in the U.S., your data will thus be stored within the U.S.). As the operators of plug-ins collect data in particular via cookies, we recommend that before you set the second click and thus create a contact to such operator, you delete all cookies by using the security options of your browser.
  2. We have no influence upon the data collected nor upon the data processing performed by plug-in operators and we have no full knowledge of the scope of their data collection, the purposes of data processing nor of applicable storage periods. Furthermore, we have no information as regards the deletion of data that plug-in operators have collected.
  3. Plug-in operators store your personal data as user profiles and use them for the purposes of promotion, market research and/or the demand-oriented design of their websites. Such evaluation is in particular performed (also for users that are not logged in) for the purpose of presenting demand-oriented promotion and informing other users or social networks of your activities on our website. You have a right to object against such creation of user profiles and in order to exercise such right, you must contact the operators of the respective plug-ins. Through the plug-ins, we offer you the option to interact with social networks and with other users which helps us to improve our internet presentation and make it more interesting for you as a user. If you are logged in with a plug-in operator, your data will be automatically associated with your existing account. If you press the activation button and thus create a link to the server of a plug-in operator, he will also store such information on your user account and inform your contacts accordingly. We recommend that each time after having used a social network, and in particular before activating the button, you log out from the server of the plug-in operator so that you can avoid an association of your personal data with your user profile within the system of the plug-in operator.
